How do I add the widget?
Follow a show in the app first. Then touch and hold an empty part of your Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and search for One More Ep. Choose Next Episode for one show or This Season for several. To change which show a widget displays, touch and hold it and tap Edit Widget.
The air time is different from the one I saw announced.
Times are converted to your device’s time zone, so a late-night slot in Japan often lands on a different day for you. If a show was delayed, the widget picks up the new time on its next refresh, and the “Updated” line tells you how old the data is.
It says “No schedule yet” or “Date not announced”.
AniList has no date for the next episode yet. This is common for shows between seasons or just after an episode airs. The widget fills in the countdown as soon as a date is published.
My widget stopped updating.
iOS decides how often widgets may refresh. The countdown itself keeps running from the saved air time, but new schedule data arrives about once an hour. Opening the app, or pulling down on its list, refreshes everything right away.
Why can I only follow six shows?
The widgets have room for four to six shows, and One More Ep is a countdown, not a watch list. If you want to track everything you watch, a dedicated tracker does that better.
Why are some titles in English and others in romaji?
The app shows the English title when AniList has one, and the romanized Japanese title otherwise.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Air times and covers are saved on your device, so countdowns keep running without a connection. Only new schedule data needs the network.
